Custom Plywood Cabinetry & Accelerated Install
For this high-end remodel, the client chose custom plywood cabinetry to achieve superior strength, durability, and a clean modern look. Unlike mass-produced particle board cabinets, these custom boxes were built from furniture-grade plywood to resist moisture and sagging.
Thanks to meticulous on-site measurements and pre-assembly preparation, our carpentry crew completed the entire cabinet install in an accelerated 5-day window. This rapid turnaround minimized household disruption while delivering perfectly level and flush cabinet bases.
Built-In Appliance Integration
To complement the modern aesthetics, we designed the cabinetry layout specifically around a suite of built-in appliances, including double wall ovens, a flush-mount cooktop, and a custom microwave cutout. This required rerouting electrical circuits and framing dedicated housing boxes.
By aligning cabinet faces precisely with the appliance margins, we achieved a flush, high-end integration that feels seamless. This layout optimizes workflow and movement in the workspace while keeping high-traffic areas unobstructed.
Premium Quartz Countertops
Quartz is highly prized for its non-porous nature, scratch resistance, and low-maintenance appeal. The countertops in this kitchen feature premium white quartz with subtle gray veining, adding a clean, luxurious touch to the two-tone cabinet scheme.
Roger's team coordinated the precise templating, cutting, and installation of the quartz slabs. Every joint was seamed with color-matched epoxy, and all edges were finished with a modern flat polish to preserve the clean lines of the kitchen.
Precision Farmhouse Sink Installation
Installing a heavy, deep-basin farmhouse sink requires substantial structural support beneath the countertop. Standard base cabinets cannot hold the weight of a solid fireclay or cast-iron sink when full of water.
To ensure long-term stability, we custom-built a heavy-duty timber support frame inside the cabinet base. The farmhouse sink is positioned to align with the surrounding windows, allowing natural light to frame the primary prep area.
Custom Tile Backsplash & Task LED Backlighting
A glass subway tile backsplash was chosen to add depth and reflect light across the kitchen. The tiles were laid in a classic running bond pattern, requiring precision cuts around electrical boxes and cabinets.
To illuminate the workspace, we installed premium task LED backlighting underneath the upper cabinets. This warm, dimmable task lighting highlights the glossy backsplash tiles and provides clear, bright light for countertop meal preparation without casting shadows.
