The old fiberglass shower was removed and replaced with custom built in shelving to form a new linen closet. New granite counter-tops and sinks, new faucets, and tile flooring finish out this unique and elegant bathroom renovation.

We redesigned this layout to feature a full size walk in shower to replace the old roman tub. New granite counter-tops and sinks, new faucets, and tile flooring finish out this unique and elegant bathroom renovation.
Custom Walk-In Shower Conversion & Porcelain Tile Work
During the initial design phase, the primary task was updating the original roman tub and fiberglass shower stall to a more functional walk in shower stall and linen closet. We began by removing the old large (unused) tub and the old outdated shower stall. The alcove opening for the old tub allowed for a larger than usual shower stall, which we were able to build from the studs out using porcelain tile. The water supply lines were moved from the floor to the wall, and the old drain line was repositioned to accommodate the new shower. 1' x 2' tile hung horizontally on the walls, with penny tile flooring, created a visually stunning look with the matching gray tiles. A new mixer valve and shower head were added, along with an elegant new sliding glass door. A half bench and niche on the back wall completed the new look while making the most of the available new space.
