Grand Double Vanity with Detailed Wavy Wall Tiles. Our team installed custom dark-stained wood vanities to contrast with textured wavy white tiles. Features a deep alcove tub, custom stone-slab countertop, and polished brass mirrors and plumbing fixtures.
Textured Wavy White Wall Tiles & Laser Alignment
For the Rockwall master bathroom, the homeowner selected textured wavy white ceramic tiles to add depth and motion. Installing wavy tiles requires absolute care during the grid layout phase because shadows from misaligned tiles can look sloppy.
Roger's team ran full laser levels across the tub alcove walls and hand-aligned each tile using micro-spacers, resulting in clean, flowing horizontal lines and zero lippage.
Custom Dark-Stained Wood Double Vanity Fabrication
To contrast with the bright wavy walls, we custom-built a 8-foot double vanity from solid oak, stained in a deep charcoal black. The vanity cabinet frame was built using mortise-and-tenon joints for maximum structural durability.
The plumbing layout was retrofitted with low-clearance PEX and PVC plumbing to house dual undermount sinks, maximizing usable cabinet drawer storage below.
Complete Down-To-The-Studs Remodel
We gutted this bathroom all the way down to the studs and built a custom shower stall with glass door and glass wall and added a large soaker tub with bench mounted faucet. Custom tile was installed on two full walls. A custom built double vanity with wall mount faucets added a nice finishing touch.
Bespoke Stone-Slab Countertop & Undermount Sink Cuts
The vanity features a solid, custom-fabricated stone-slab countertop. The undermount sink cutouts were polished to a pencil edge by our stone-fabricator partners.
Roger's team checked the vanity box level before setting the heavy slab with high-flexibility silicone adhesive, ensuring a perfect, watertight seal against the plaster.
Polished Brass Mirrors & Accents Installation
The final touch included custom polished brass plumbing fixtures, matching cabinet knobs, and dual matching rectangular mirrors.
The mirrors were anchored using heavy-duty wall anchors directly into structural framing behind the drywall. All electrical fixtures were updated to GFCI safety standards.
