Luxury Double Vanity & Curbless Walk-in Wet Room. A full-scale master bath transformation featuring a bespoke double vanity with quartz countertops, custom mirrors, and a spacious curbless shower room complete with dual rain heads and pebble-floored drainage.
Custom Curbless Wet Room Design & Structural Prep
For the Greenville master bathroom, we designed a luxury, open-concept curbless wet room. To allow the floor to run continuously into the shower without a threshold, Roger's team cut and lowered the floor joists by 1.5 inches.
This structural work allows us to slope the subfloor toward the drain while maintaining a flush transition to the main bathroom floor. The subfloor was sealed with a double coat of waterproof liquid membrane, ensuring a permanent seal.
Dual Rain Shower Heads & Dedicated Plumbing Engineering
The wet room features two high-performance ceiling-mounted rain shower heads. To handle the double volume of water, the team rerouted the plumbing line from standard 1/2-inch copper to a 3/4-inch supply loop.
This keeps water pressure consistent. We installed dual pressure-balanced shower valves with thermostatic controls to prevent temperature fluctuations when other fixtures are run in the house.
Bespoke Double Vanity with Custom Quartz Countertops
To provide ample storage and a touch of warmth, we constructed a bespoke double vanity from solid white oak. The cabinet is finished in a moisture-resistant conversion varnish.
It is topped with a thick, seamless quartz countertop slab with dual undermount vitreous china sinks. Plumbing pipes underneath are offset to maximize drawer clearance.
Pebble Flooring, Linear Drain, & Waterproofing Detail
The shower floor is finished with natural river pebbles set in epoxy mortar, providing a beautiful non-slip texture underfoot.
A high-volume linear drain was installed along the back wall, allowing the entire floor to slope in a single direction. The walls were tiled with large porcelain tiles up to the ceiling, creating a completely watertight wet room.
