SECO LoanSTAR

The project was financed through the SECO LoanSTAR Program at a 1% fixed interest rate. LoanSTAR is a revolving loan program, administered through the Texas State Energy Conservation Office and provides low-interest funding for governmental energy efficiency projects.

TLED Superior Warranty

The TLED lamps chosen have a 10-year, best in industry, warranty. Many manufacturers offer a 5-year or even 10-year warranty but clarify lamp “failure” very differently. HCC benefits from a TLED product with a 10-year warranty with failure defined by losing a single diode. This ensures light levels are maintained in the space and creates a superior learning environment.`

The flicker-free TLEDs are shown to prevent common headaches and eye fatigue often brought on by working in areas utilizing fluorescent lamps.
