The expanded control system utilizes web connectivity, allowing facilities personnel at each district building to monitor systems from a local computer with district intranet access. DDC controls were installed at the:

  • High School
  • Middle School
  • Vo-Ed Building
  • Central Administration Office
  • Wesley Martin Operations Center
  • Portables and Metal Buildings across the district

As part of this project, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning upgrades were performed at several of the district facilities, including rooftop air-conditioning unit (RTU) change outs, and heat pump replacements, boiler replacements, and boiler retubing.

The district’s lighting was also modernized with the upgrade of gym lighting in five facilities from high-bay metal halide to new high-bay T8 with instant start and occupancy sensors, and the complete re-lamping of the district with 25W lamps. Occupancy sensors were installed where appropriate in order to reduce lighting hours in offices and conference rooms.
