E3 partnered with Goodall-Witcher Healthcare in Clifton, TX, on a facility-wide energy efficiency upgrade involving advanced LED lighting retrofits, targeted HVAC replacements, and the installation of a modern Building Automation System (BAS). The project was designed to improve occupant comfort, enhance clinical reliability, and reduce long-term energy costs.

LED Lighting Retrofit

  • E3 retrofitted over 1,900 fixtures across three facilities:
  • Hospital, Clinic, and Laundry
  • Nursing Facility
  • Fitness and Wellness Center

Lighting scope included:

  • Replacement of outdated T8 and CFL fixtures with high-efficiency LED lamps and recessed retrofit kits
  • Exterior lighting upgrades for safety and visibility
  • Installation of dimmable LED fixtures and controls in all patient and tenant rooms
  • Warranty coverage up to 10 years on key components

HVAC System Upgrades

Targeted HVAC improvements to critical areas included:

  • Replacement of 14 fan coil units serving patient rooms
  • Replacement of 2 HVAC units serving operating rooms
  • Replacement of 1 delivery room unit
  • Installation of 11 clinic RTUs and 2 cardio lab RTUs
  • Restoration of chilled/hot water operation to 2 rooftop AHUs damaged in the 2021 freeze

Building Automation System (BAS)

E3 deployed a new direct digital controls (DDC) system across the hospital, integrating:

  • Chillers and boilers
  • Air handlers and fan coil units
  • VAVs, rooftop units, and exhaust fans
  • Space temperature monitoring and flow verification
